Recommended to us to do an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) by someone we trust for other work around the home. They were prompt to respond to my call and offered a time that suited us to do the check, then arrived close to the time they’d said. I was asked... read more for rough details of the house size, etc., and was given an estimate of the time it would take and the cost. In fact it took close to the estimated time and the invoice was as estimated. The guys were helpful and friendly, explained what they were doing and the issues they’d found, plus how they could be dealt with by me and/or them, followed up by a detailed report. Most people don’t have these checks made (our house was last checked 20 years ago!) and they really should as equipment does deteriorate or even fail, connections can loosen (as they have in our house), etc. I’m really pleased we had this done as there were some issues – nothing dangerous at the moment but with the potential to worsen, and mostly fairly easily corrected. If this sounds like an advert for the company, I should say that we have no connection to them but were certainly pleased with their work and would recommend them.
